14 Day Return Policy

At Alexis Russell Jewelry, we are committed to creating unique, handcrafted pieces that every customer will love. Because we want our customers to feel as confident in their purchase as we are in our jewelry, we are happy to offer the following services on orders from our website:

  • 14-day returns available on all eligible non-custom pieces

  • Free 30-day engagement ring resizing

  • Insured and discreet shipping


Please note all fine jewelry returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.


Return & Exchange Policy

Customers not fully satisfied with their purchase may return or exchange any qualifying jewelry within 14 days of receiving their order.

Any item returned to Alexis Russell Jewelry must be unworn or undamaged in order to receive a return or exchange. Alexis Russell Jewelry does not accept any returns or exchanges for certain, non-qualifying jewelry.

Return Window & Process

Customers must contact Customer Care within 14 days of receiving their order, or by January 15 for holiday purchases, to request a return or exchange. Once approved, a return shipping label and instructions will be provided. Returned items must be shipped back within 7 days of receiving the label.

All jewelry items must be returned in their original packaging whenever possible. If the original packaging is unavailable, items must be securely double-boxed to ensure safe and insured delivery.

Eligibility

  • Custom engagement jewelry, custom wedding jewelry, and custom fine jewelry are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Ready to ship engagement rings and fine jewelry pieces are eligible for return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is unworn, undamaged, and unaltered. Please note, these are still subject to return fees.

  • Final sale items, internationally shipped orders, promotional items, and worn jewelry are not eligible for return or exchange.

Fees & Deductions

All approved returns are subject to the following:

  • Return shipping label fee, based on the original order total:

    • Orders $500 and under: $15
    • Orders $500–$999: $20
    • Orders $1,000–$2,499: $25
    • Orders $2,500–$4,999: $30
    • Orders $5,000 and over: $65


  • Fine jewelry returns incur a 10% restocking fee due to the handcrafted nature of each piece.

  • Ready to ship engagement rings that have been resized prior to return are subject to a $75 resizing fee, which will be deducted from the refund total.

Holiday Return Extension

To make holiday gifting easier, all orders placed between November 15 and December 24 are eligible for return or exchange through January 15, provided they meet the same eligibility criteria listed above.


Complimentary 30-Day Resizing on Engagement Rings

Engagement rings purchased through Alexis Russell Jewelry are eligible for complimentary resizing for the first 30 days, including free shipping both ways. The 30-day period begins when the order is received by the customer.

Please note:

  • Promotional gifts are ineligible for complimentary resizing.

  • Rings with grooved or faceted bands, eternity rings, or alternative metals (e.g., Tantalum, gold-filled) cannot be resized.

  • Rings that have been altered by another jeweler are ineligible for resizing through Alexis Russell Jewelry.


After the complimentary period, we are happy to resize your ring at any point during its lifetime. This service is currently priced between $75–$95 USD, depending on materials and scope of work.

Preparing Returns, Exchanges & Resizings

Please follow these steps to ensure safe return and full coverage under our insured shipping process:

  1. Contact Customer Care

  2. Receive Return Label

    • Once approved, Customer Care will email an insured return label (fees listed above).

    • Please allow 1–2 business days for processing.

    • Include the Return Contact Form provided in your package

    • Ship your return within 7 days of receiving the label.

  3. Package Your Return

    • Include all items, packaging, and any promotional gifts from the original order.

    • Use original packaging when possible; otherwise, double-box for security.

  4. Ship Your Package

    • Use the carrier indicated on your return label (USPS or FedEx).

    • Drop off at a staffed location and obtain a receipt for insurance purposes.

    • Alexis Russell Jewelry is not responsible for packages left in drop boxes or unstaffed locations.



Receiving a Refund

Once your item(s) are received and inspected for compliance with our return policy:

  • Refunds or exchange credits are processed within 3–5 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Credit card refunds may take 5–7 business days, while third-party processors (PayPal, Affirm, etc.) may take longer.

  • Shipping label and restocking fees will be deducted from your total refund.

  • Store credit, when applicable, is issued via electronic gift card to the email address associated with the original order.
