Alexis'story is as unique as the jewelry she designs. From her childhood in the foster care system to becoming a trend-setting influence in alternative engagement & fine jewelry, her journey is filled with experiences that shaped her jewelry designs, personal values, and the Alexis Russell brand.

A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY

The jewelry that Alexis creates often echos her childhood experience growing up in the foster care system. Given a life that was far from perfect, she was challenged to seek and create beauty of her own. Because of these challenges, she has the unique ability to find beauty in imperfection, sentiment she passes along in every piece that she lovingly creates.

A PASSION FOR DESIGN

Since 2005, Alexis has specialized in using unusual and often overlooked gemstones and diamonds, pairing them with her distinctive, handcrafted designs. She has revolutionized the way people think about engagement rings. Rather than offering the typical white diamond solitaire, Alexis dares to be different, and has introduced us to stones such as Salt + Pepper diamonds, Montana Sapphires and Sunstone, just to name a few. In doing so, she gives us all permission to embrace our own personal style and individuality through our jewelry.

Her incredible story has made her a role model and she always strives to inspire other women who come from less-fortunate backgrounds to achieve their dreams. She's an active participant in the Retail Orphan Initiative and uses her influence to raise awareness for underprivelaged youth and other causes that align with her values.
